Random Missfiring codes in all cylinders Need 411
Ok So I'm getting the same codes over and over again 71-72-73-74 Random Missfiring in all Cylinders. So I need some ideas on what it is that could be causing this. Any and all ideas of things I can check or should check for. Please any help would be greatly appreciated
New Plugs, wires, coil wire, msd 6al box, new coil ss, rotor is semi used but not bad. The only other things that I know I have a problem with are the TPS sensor, and my IAT Sensor came off an older year B16 intake manifold. And MY Motor is a B18c1 GSR motor Fully Built, still new.
No Misshift..... It will do it after ideling for awhile and or just by normal driving it... The MSD Ignition is brand new and so is the coil and all the wiringis perfect. still think it could be the ignition? My friends it's diffenantly something electrical.......I was just worried that my rings might have been going out or are blown... since it was misfiring in every cylinder?

I would check the MSD system just to make sure. I seen the boxes go bad brand spanking new, so I would start from there. How long has the misfire been going on. Noticed that you posted it's a new motor. Check you t-belt??

By mis-shift, I mean a one time overrev from going 3rd to 2nd at high rpm which can bend all of your valves. Personally, I don't trust aftermarket ignition systems, that's why I suggested trying returning ignition to stock to see if that corrects the problem. Valves that are too tight can also cause multiple random misfire codes.
a friend that bought a theft recovery civic and put a jdm b16a in is having the same problem. it's a obd1 motor that is using an obd2 oil pump, injectors, and dizzy, and he's getting the random misfire codes too. the car idles like crap after it is warmed up too. using complete stock ignition.

Compression and leakdown first. If motor is o.k.-do check cam timing (a tooth off can cause poor idle quality and misfire codes) and adjust valves. Double check ignition-spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires. Poor quality fuel can also cause similar problems-contamination by water or little pieces of debris-etc.
OK GREAT THANKS EVERYONE for your input and help, I will check all of that asap. And Those are the only codes i can read from the check engine light blinking I don't know any other way. Thanks again guys..... Hey possibly could it be tha I'm running My Stock GSR ecu on a fully built motor with 9:1 compression, and injectors at 440cc or anything else of the sort?? I will get on checking those things tomorrow from what you guys suggested.

If this statement is accurate, you answered your own question. 440cc injectors on a stock ECU will definately cause problems. Get the Hondata!

I have the hondata Stage 4b Computer already I just can't run it right now cause My turbo hasn't come in yet so its just running the motor with no boost.... And when I plug in the hondata without the turbo it surges like from 1-2grand up and down... Aight so I think we have it figured out!! lol thanks guys fro your help!
My brother just had the same problem, it was the spark plugs. Even though the plugs were brand new, they sucked. I forgot what brand they were though. I put the stock ones back on and it works perfect now.
