comptech or mugen header??
i have a itr motor with a compression around 11:1, ctr cams, vafc, N1 exhuast, 4.785 final drive, and cam gears....dynoed at 180/136 with a dc sports 4-2-1. I have both a comptech 4-2-1 and mugen 4-1 header that i can put on. I have significant traction problems bc of the jdm final drive so i was leaning towards the mugen. Which header would you guys recommend?
Try going with the Mugen since it's a 4 to 1 design. You will lose a small amount of torque down low (good) and gain top-end horse (after you gain traction!)
you shouldnt LOSE power anywhere. if the other header is tuned more for
low-mid rpm then you may not gain as much, but from my experience
the mugen 4-1(especially with 2.5" collector) will gain everywhere and more
than the dc 4-2-1.
FYI, the design has some to do with it, but not all so dont make generalizations
based on 4-2-1 or 4-1 designs

thanks for all the oppinions, i figured everyone would say go with the mugen. im kinda worried about it hanging too low cause i have 14in wheels but we'll see
anymore oppinions or experiences??
