What do you think would be a good price for a a6?

Default What do you think would be a good price for a a6?

Im selling mine.. I've seen em on ebay going for $300-$500 without a tranny and it surprised the hell outa me. I've only been asking $125 for mine so far, what would you ask?

-1991 D16a6 longblock
-no tranny
-no wiring harness
-155K miles
-broken nipple on EAVC
-missing small coolant hose on EAVC
-ran strong as hell

Think Im being fair?

One Meeeelllliiionn dollars. You should definitely ask more for it. The worst thing that is going to happen is that you will get bargained back to your starting price. Good luck

I say that's a fair price considering there's some damage, and no tranny.

Not a big deal, but it's not perfect either. It's basically a good price.

Oh yea true, i totally forgot about that. It came on my ZC so I just switched them out and put the Si one on the ZC.

i sold a complete a6 swap with tranny for 300 picked up locally. i feel it is a fair price. the motor had 120,000 on it.

If you were local, I would buy it. Sounds like a great and fair price to me. I would never pay the above for an A6 motor, maybe (and I have) for a newer Z6 or Y8 in great condition, but never an A6 due to the age of the motor.
