pics of the rizzy... (dial-up beware)
let me know what you think... *EDIT* they should be fixed...

i'm either gonna get rid of the slipstreams or have them painted a dark silver/gunmetal with a polished lip.
here are some pics of my buddies '99 Si... he hasn't had it long, so it's basically stock. lately he's been having turbo dreams
.

Damn man looking clean!
Have you thought about silver? The reason I ask is I am thinking about the slipstreams and I also have a black hatch. Maybe its just seeing to many black rims on H-T but i think silver with the polished lip might be cool.
BTW swap should be finished tonight...Had to order a 2000 Si radiator (for the larger inlet and outlets) and Have to have my Tanabe custom installed becuase the piping is to small at the inlet. And to boot the exhaust is 2.5 inch and is still to small
Swap time is at 6 hours I think and that doesn't include prep time ie: timing belt water pump replacement and so on.
Again your car is really looking good. Time to take it to the drag strip!

my dad keeps telling me to have them painted silver or white... no way will i paint them white.
so silver is still an option.
rota had a limited production color (i think) that was gunmetal with a polished lip and i thought they looked really good. (anyone have a pic of them?) plus i bought my slipstreams like a week after they came out so i've had em for awhile and i'm a little sick of the flat black.
so you finally swapped it in?
i had to mess with my exhaust to... we had to cut an inch off and reweld the flange back on because the header was longer than the stock GSR down pipe so my exhaust was all shifted... it actually still is.
2 1/2" is too small!?!? are planning on FI or something?
i'll be taking her to the strip soon.
if anybody cares, here's my small list of mods...

Just a quick note. Actually the "itr stock header" has a what looks like a 3 inch outlet. The Tanabe piping is 2.5 inch and it was Way to small from one flange to the next.
I also went with a racing cat. converter 2.5 inch instead of the test pipe becuase I thought the exhaust system was gonna be crazy loud but its just DEEP.
Will be posting pics probably tonight. Then wake up at 7 am and do my buddys swap. Were shooting to do it in under 5 hours.
