Actually, I can see it just fine: 1) I only really need to "see" it while tuning. 2)I have S2k seats/rails, so I sit about 2 inches lower than stock = easier to see since I'm lower. Thanks for all the

The "change drawer" is actually the ASHTRAY . I keep my change in the CHANGE DRAWER to the left of the steering column. Since I don't smoke ( and I don't keep anything in the ashtray, removing it was no biggie for me. It is not a direct replacement for the ashtray....the VAFC is slightly larger than the opening. Some cutting is required. Once you remove the material necessary to fit the VAFC, the ashtray can no longer be reinstalled.
I removed the cupholder so I could gain acces to the underside of the mounting surface where I bolted the supplied Apexi bracket. I then mounted the VAFC to the bracket with the supplied double-sided tape. The upper console (frame that holds the radio basket) supports the top of the VAFC also. Basically, it is rock-solid and flush!

Not at all its totally flat. Little cutting, some epoxy, and walla you got a sleeper install that wont show off your $500 boost controller.
