Default Stock ITR wheels with tapered lug nuts......ok? Not ok?

I have seen a thread on this before but i can't seem to find it anymore. I know the stock ITR wheels uses rounded end lug nuts but most after market wheel lugs are tapered. Is it unsafe to use tapered lugs on a stock ITR wheel?
