RS emblem?

RS emblem?
I always see pics of civics with the RS emblem on the grill. They seem to only come on 96-00 jdm civics. am i right? What does it mean? Do these badges come straight out the factory in japan?... and no im not going to put this on my civic (i dont even own a civic), so dont flame me

It doesn't mean "Racing Sedan", it stands for Road Sailing, and they were also put on other Civic models besides the sedan
