Si and HF springs the same?
Si stiffer than HF - putting HF springs on Si will lower it, but very slight, maybe 1/2 inch - Si springs on HF will be just the opposite.
Actually, I have a HF right now. So if I put SI springs on it will raise my car by a 1/2 inch? I thought, if anything, SI would be lower....
The HF springs have noticibly thinner coils than the SI springs. The extra weight of my B16a/turbo sags the stock si springs in the front down about 1". With the HF springs in the back, it sits about 1" lower all around. 1.5" if someone is sitting in the car.
Ok, thanks. That suck because I had a chance to get some for a good price. It's odd that my friends SI sits lower then my HF. Oh well, back to checking eBay!
