Default Anyone heard of a kamikaze header?

I found a good deal on a kamikaze header and they claim the put out +5 hp on the dc sport ceraminc headers. Any info on this header would be a great help thanks.
O yeah is a two piece or one piece header better???

The Kamikaze header is poorly made, and I've heard of more than one person (on HT) cracking theirs. As far as the 1 or 2 piece design, the 2 piece is a little easier to install on some cars, as long as it has a good design, that won't leak at the flange.

Kamikaze headers are pretty well known.. they work great w/ roots type blowers like the JRSC but they are poorly made and most people clean them up a bit before they bolt em in. I'd say for the price, its well worth it especially after you sand down the insides.

Headers is what DC is known for. The Kamikaze may make 5 more horsepower over the DC for 5 RPM's, the other 6,995 RPM's belong to the DC! Guarantee your stock manifold will put more power out over the RPM range then the Kamikaze.

On the one-piece or two piece question, I really don't think there is much difference performance wise...one piece is claimed to be lighter weight...I know the one piece DC came after the two piece. I am running a two piece DC ceramic in my '95 Civic EX (It is 7 years old and it doesn't have a crack or exaust leak anywhere) Couldn't be more happy with it!

In one of the old old SportCC mags...they did a dyno header test. The same 2 piece and 1 piece DC header.........guess which one made more....the 2 piece for some reason...for the money, they had all the headers, comptech, mugen, etc. etc. DC two piece came out on top. But like I said this was a long time ago and a lot of headers have come a long way...I would go wit the ITR DC 4-1-header....usdm or jdm version.

4-1 will give you more high rpm power, 4-2-1 low end, never seen a kamikaze crack, have seen premature wear/cosmetic flaws.
