Default Cnc Ported Head Dyno Graphs for H22a and F20B!!!

We have 2 dynographs that i think alot of you guys might appreciate. The first graph is of a pretty much stock H22a all it has is a dc Header and rsr exhaust. Base line showed us that we were make 176 Hp to the wheels and 144 Lbs of torque. With no other changes other then the Cnc ported head it made 188 Hp to the wheels and 151 Lbs of torque. It picked up 12Hp and 7lbs of torque. With some cams it should pick up alot more with the higher flowing head.

The second graph is of a F20B motor from the sir Accord in Japan. It is only 2.0 Liters. The F20B motor Has Jun Cams and valvetrain, Custom Header and Hondata. Our Baseline showed that it made 199HP and 140 lbs of torque. Adding only the Cnc Ported head We made 213Hp and 147 lbs of torque. We picked up 14Hp and 7 lbs of torque. No cam gear changes were made on both engines. We only tuned the Hondata to make sure A/F ratios were correct. We could have yielded about another 2 to 4 Hp from tuning them. I just wanted to compare apples with apples.

Both motors have stock blocks and are running on 91 octane of course.
Id like to thank Minh and Charles (our Fellow Honda-Tech members) for the Dyno Graphs. The h22a graph and install of the Cnc ported Head will be in Super Street Pretty soon.

You think you could work the same magic on an F22B1 head?

Yes the Jun cams are excellent! JUN USA is no longer in the US but there will be other distributors offering their products soon. Sorry we are not offering anything for the F22a Just not enough demand! Why don't you upgrade to H22a anyways!

Becuase the H22 isn't all it's cracked up to be, and the F22 is just as good, if not better. Especially when used with forced induction.

Do you by any chance have any pics of what the manifold looked like after the P&P?

Yes i will be posting the pics up soon. The dyno runs were made on the same day. We did the head install and dynoed the results. The results are also corrected not actual. I would have to say that there is a reason why the top racers use either the dohc b-series engine or H-series engine. The H22a heads flow alot better and are superior to the F22a heads. It doesn't mean that you can't make a f22a fast it just means that the h22a is a better platform to start with.

Even though the H22A has the better head, the F22B1 has the better block. It's all a matter of what's important. And I feel that you can work heads much easier than you can work a block, no?

How do you figure that the f22a block is better then an h22? what do you base this on? I would like to hear what you think. The H22/h23 have been used in all forms of racing from btcc to formula 1 japan to Import Drag Racing. They have be proven to handle 800+HP. Prove me wrong

I would like to make a small correction. The F22 has better sleeves, pistons, and rods, especially for boost on the stock motor. The H22 and F22 blocks are almost identical (on OBDII models) except for a couple oil passages on the driver side of the block.

You're talking about STOCK parts, and boost. They're talking about semi built motors, and keeping it all motor. Two totally different objectives...

And where is your "proof" that the F22 sleeves/rods/pistons are "better" than their H22's counterparts? I believe CAST PISTONS tend to melt either way.

The ONLY F22 I would fear would be from Bisi.

And aren't F22 motors only 85mm bores? Whereas the H22 is 87mm. I don't think they're "almost identical"...but actually very different.

Just looke at the Portflow section of the prospeed website. Is it 900 to buy a cylinder head or to get your cylinder head worked on? Also...is there any kind of core refund...if not you guys should set something up like that....i could give you 900 then mail you my head and get 200 back or something like that....that would be sweet.
