Default KYB AGX Shocks Settings

I'm putting a set of Eibach Sportlines with KYB AGX Adjustable shocks. I'm new to adjustable shocks and was wondering what sort of settings people are using. I'm not racing to work, so I don't need it to be too ridiculous. Weekends, I'll probably use to auto-x (if I ever have time). Thanks
PS. Forgot to mention, it's for a 1993 Civic DX hatch

I would say for street 2-3 front and 4-6 back... anything lighter and you're springs will overdo the shocks

Nice bike by the way.... i love my red and white f4i

yeah..i loved that f4i... it's gone now... it was replaced by the civic... which turned into my daily driver. my summer car is under-works...

thanks to everyone for the advice... i'm sure i'll eventually tweak it, but i'd like to get a good start..don't want to totally in the dark with the setup.

could this cause lifting of the spring out of the perch ei. loud banging noise over certain bumps?

I would suggest that you set them harder on the front than the rear. Depending on how hard you push your car on the turns there is a tendency for the rear to get lose unexpectedly. Just my suggestion.

My AGX's (purchased 2 or 3 months ago) only go from 1 to 4. Did they change the styles recently?

Checked the p/n's and they're correct.

on the 96 - 00 civic shocks, they go 1-4 in front, and 1-8 in back. on the older models, they only go 1-4, i believe.

i have mine set at 1/1 on the street, and autocross, last time i set them at 2/6 and it seemed to work.

I've got mine set at 1up front, and 4 in the rear. this is on a 94 CX hatch.

I Drag the car alot, so i wanted to front soft, and the rear hard so that it did not sqaut under hard hole shots. Worked great too, i can do consistant 1.9 60' on BFG's

3f 6r for me on Prokits.

has anyone noticed that the shocks get a little softer after 6 months? They still control the spring well but it seems that over the same bumps I always go over their is a bigger bounce then when I first put them on. Sometimes I also get a side to side bounce when one side bounces more then the other and can be a little unsettling on the freeway. It never did that before. Are my shocks starting to go?

??? 4 front and 6 rear? Did you ever try that setting?? That means that the front is as stiff as it can get=Xtreme understeer unless you have a lsd. 6 in the rear? I seriously think someone just suggests something ridiculous and all the noobs just agree. It def depends on what spring rate you havel. My setup is 1 in front 3 in back for street. 2 front 5 back for competition. I have GC coilovers 450 front/500rear spring rates. When you try it out you'll see what is "too stiff" for your liking. Good luck man.

Hey guys, we are that seller. We would like to sell the shocks outside of ebay to honda-tech members. Because if we do this, we don't have the horrible eBay fees. We can beat any price from another website. Please e-mail us at sales@importp.com to order or visit http://www.importrp.com THANKS!
