Ignition timing w/Mugen ECU, 4-1, test pipe...?
Presently set at 17.5, thinking I might be able to back it down to around the "stock" 15.
FPR set to about 52 at the moment, warmed up idle seems a little high at around 1100 (will run w/AC though).
Just for reference I looked up Andrew's dyno plot which was for a similar set up.

Smelled just a little in the parking garage this morning, but not grossly rich or anything.
Here's the kicker, should I back down the timing for the cross country drive and then up it again at BW on race gas? TIA , ed

I think that would be a smart idea Zyg. Especially as you go across country and start to obtain some of the lower octane fuel.
Boba- who has seen 90 octane as premium before.
Yeah, thanks Boba.
I've driven through the west before... funny how they feel 89-90 is "premium" out around Colorado.
Could drop the stock computer back in, but then I'll have to re-do everything out there (which is what I'm trying to avoid).
One "odd" thing, there's much more power down low and therefore the VTEC kick is not as pronounced!?

altitude makes up for octane
vtec is not as pronounced because you are seeing a power loss when vtec
comes in. also, your x-country gas mileage will suck royally due to the
open loop ecu.
