Does it matter what brand of TV and DVD to get?
i found some cheap *** tvs on ebay.com like 7.6" in dash + dvd player that plays dvd cdrw cdr + two 5.6" headrest tvs all together for around $450

 

Don't buy cheap displays. You will be sorry. To your question : No it does not matter, most screens come with a control box that has standard composite (rca) inputs.

 

what about the dvd players? that play dvd, mp3 and all that good ****?

 

in my opinion, stick with a good brand monitor, the quality is probably better, as for the dvd/cd player, you probably can get a cheap one, i was tempted once to get small dvdplayer, about half the size of a PS2 that would easily fit in my glovebox, they run from 150 and up...
but the quality is probably average...

i got an 7' indash sony in mine, and 2 sony 6.5 headrest monitors...they were a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion...

 

I bought a farenheit 7" TFT and it does what I expected it to. It will run a custom iterface for win2k that will allow me to play DIVX and mp3 in my car. Yes it was cheap. Yes there are better. Yes it does what I want it to.

umm...could you guys send me some spare cash or somethin, cause i could barely afford some b-quiet extreme for my trunk and you guys have better audio/visual systems in your cars than i do in my room
