hey, i think one of my interior speakers is on the verge of blowning, so its time for some interior speakers. i dont have much to spend on them (around 100/pair) and was just wondering what a decent 2 or 3 way speaker i could get would be. they will most likely be running off my head unit , so they dont need to be that powerful, but i dont want them to destort at any lower volume then the stockies would. can anyone help me out? thanks!

 

Most aftermarket speakers would be more likely to distort at lower volume levels due to higher power requirements. I'd recommend the Infinity refrence line. They're cheap and sound terrific. The bass response isn't too bad either.

 

i could use some suggestions too...i want to replace all four 6.5's in the GSR...i want something that will give good bass response but running off the stock head unit...

Same thing goes for you too. Your highs will be improved, but don't expect big gains with bass, especially with a factory headunit.

 

how about the infinity kappas?

 

kappas are good but they are a little longer than the refrence line so space my be and issue but just double check.

 

Kappas require a little more power than the refrence series. Go listen to them, and see if you like them. You can find them at Circuit City, Best Buy, etc...
