Default PayPal???

I m not sure where this topic goes under, but i thougt it has to do with selling.

This is for those of you who are familiar with Paypal.. How much of a fee would they take from you if you are sending money? Isn't it like 3%?

I sent $1675 and my seller said he only got like 1400 or something like that. I think he screwing me over. What do you guys think?

That is a lot of money to send through paypal. I really hope you have all his information, and trust him. I personally would not send anything over 500 to anyone I don't personally know. But that's just me.
Also it is 3%, but I think it's more for international.

All you had to do was search on PayPal's site. Here's link to page regarding fees:

http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/...tside

I don't think PayPal fees are anywhere near 20%. I think this person's trying to pull fast one. It's possible that he could've used his PayPal account to buy something once he received money from you w/out knowing that it would deduct from his balance.

You may want to consider using Escrow for these large transactions next time.
