depends. .. i only had to cut like a inchand a half out of both.. somepeople will say more or less.. the best way to do it is to put it ont he car and see where you are at in length and cut from there.

u should just buy one already cut for you because when u start doin that then ur shifts are gonna be all shitty. i had a shitty shift linkage and i hated it...so i bought a new one and it was 10 times better
