i have a 89 civic hb and i need to replace my thermostat but i dont know where it is or what it even looks like. can anyone explain to me where it is.

 

look behind the engine....you should see a water neck with hoses going to it......when you take this neck off (two 12mm bolts), you will see the thermostat......remember, you must first drain your coolant or you will spill that **** all over the place
