Default h22 swap? or just go for the gusto

I was contemplating putting the roughly 2500 for a h22 swap into my 93 accord. I was just curious if you guys think that I would be better off just getting some more towards a Prelude. The only downside to that is i'm sure my insurance would jump at least 50% if i got the prelude...opinions appreciated thanks

Depends on how much you really like your car. If your doing it mearly for the speed, then just get the lude. If you really love your car and you want to make a project out of it, then get the H22. Remember...sure its great to smash on a ricer in a lude, but to see the look on someones face when you blow by them in an Accord is priceless.

Well, i can agree with some of this ( mainly the last line ). In the thread i started i vented some anger from people that hate on accords and love preludes when we're lighter than them, cheaper, blah blah. Another member chimed in and explained the prelude is really a " Sports Car "and the accord is really catered to it's " Family Car " stature. IMO if you want just speed, keep the accord and do the swap. If you want all around car performance sacrifice some deserts and other **** to fit that prelude in your budget.

I have to agree with the above, when i first did my swap and i raced a GS-R and walked he *** on the highway in a 90 accord i wish you guys could have seen his face. And after i finish my boosting project which will be done my JULY i want to walk a turbo eclipse for example on the highway and see his face. I have other pics posted on a nother site but i go by the name "hybrid90accord" but i had to change my SN because i forgot my password and could remeber the frase
