Does the 92-95 D16Z6 have a knock sensor?

More specifically, does an OBD-1 P28 ECU require a knock sensor to be connected? I heard someone say the OBD-1 didn't have one but the OBD-2 P28 did. Is this right or wrong?

there is no obd2 p28. obd2 started in 96, p28 is 92-95. and no, it doesn't have a knock sensor. that started in 96.
