Default Need Suggestions, Turbo Z6 overheating during cool downs...

I have a D16Z6 with a greddy kit and a large Front Mount IC, its custom, takes up most of the grill space, and I'm thinkin that my radiator isn't catching enough air, only when I drive the car hard for a bit and then park it and let it run to cool down does the temp start to rise after 1-2 minutes, if I turn on the AC the temp DROPS immediately, so this is telling me that I'm not getting enough cooling to the radiator.... I am thinking a FAL slim line fan should help, but who has any other suggestions??

Make sure you have enough water/ anti-freeze in there w/o any air pockets, so make sure you bleed the system. (i forgot if the d16's have valve to release)

Then make sure your fan is working properly

My cooling system is bleed tighter than a virgin's front middle pocket.

The stock cooling fan, it spins and doesn' t make strange noises, so I can only assume its working correctly...

get a better thermostat .. and also you dont need to idle your car over 1 minute the opil circulate more then that.. remember the cool down time is basicly to cool the turbo down and getting rid of the oil in the oil line for cooler oil.. try to idle your car over 30 seconds but less then 1 minute tho.. and also you might want to put your fan on a switch, so wire it up straight to the accessory and put the switch to the ground.. if you kno what im talking about ...im assuming you got a turbo timer ....so when the car turns off the fan will turn off as well that will solve all the problems and get a automatic radiator if you like cools a little better

i put my water temp gauge where the sensor for the fan switch used to go on the thermostat housing and it takes for ever to read anything but it seems to work fine after a little bit
