Is there anybody out there that has attempted to swap out K20A3 cams for K20A cams?? I know that on the K20A3, Vtec is only on the intake cam and on the K20A its on both(intake/exhaust) I am assuming that the EP3 computer would either have to be reprogramed or swapped for the K20A computer if possible.

 

I think the reason that no one has replied to your question is because you answered your own question. K20A3 has only Vtec in the intake cam. K20A-A2 have Vtec lobes on both cams. This means not only would the Computer need to be swapped out but the head and rocker (valve train) arms would need to be swapped. Basically go buy yourself a type S head and internals set up with type S ECU. But good luck with that your better off buying a complete type S motor and swapping it in. However their is a better alternative. Skunk2 has cams coming soon for the K20A3, so relax and wait it out. Skunk2 is definitly worth the wait.
