Default 215/35/17

hey guys lookin for some help with tires selection? its between a 215/40 a 215/35 and a 205/40. there going on a 17x7" light weight rims so im worried about bending.

im thinking the 215/35 will match the factory dimentions the best, but im worried about it bending rims easier then with the 40 series. and the 40 series will throw the speedometer off and possibly affect gearing more so then the 35.

then i've also heard there are problems with the 205/40 not fitting great i.e. sidewalls being pulled in at the tread, making it easier to bend rims.

does anyone run a 215/35/17, have any problems?
thanks

I have 40's on my car and they run a bit rough....as far as size comparison, go here: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
