good 6x9 midbasses speakers?
I do NOT have an amp and I probably will not invest the money in one simply because I am not all into loud music or 398274328472347 watt bass that damage my ear drums.
I have a pioneer head unit that out put 4x50 max, probably 30watt rms? I am pretty content with my front infiniti speakers even though they are underpowered (75w rms, 110w max)
I want SOME midbass to replace my 6x9 in the rear (i have a sedan, not a coupe) and I was wondering if there are some speakers that'd offer that without an amp

I'd suggest a 2-way 6x9. A 3-way will use more power for the extra tweeter thus less power for the bass. I've had good experiences with 6x9s from Kenwood, Infinity, and MB-Quart
Look online and you can find some great deals on these speakers. These should give you quite a bit of bass.

thanks for the replies
I had the same head unit, infinith 63.3i and 693.5i in the rear which was way under powered as well. (100w rpm, 300w max) and it sound just like stock. This is what happens when you don't invest in an amp
but I'll look around
so this is good enough for my desired application?

This is very true. A single 8 inch sub with 100 watt amp crossed at 150 will probably help your midbass much more than anything else.

Pick up a pair of Infinity Reference 6x9's on ebay. They have great sound quality, awesome mid-bass, and crystal clear treble. Plus I think they are rated at 93db, so you wont have to turn your deck way up to get them to play loud. Your deck will have more than enough power.
