does anyone know how to make an LED into a shiftlight that u can put in your Stock gauge cluster....kinda like the hondata shiftlight?

 

Seems like you'd still need some kind of module to regulate the light...You can prob take apart one of those little shift lights and somehow wire up an LED that you can put anywhere.

yeah, you need some module. like above, you could spend the cash for a shiftlite then rewire the light to a smaller LED in your dash.

 

i think razö came out with something like that..... its just called a shift light.... i forgot how much it goes for.....

 

you can get an rpm activated switch, and hook it up to a LED light. i was planning on a DIY shiftlight for my car, and i was going to hook it up to the SRS light on the SI cluster...that would have been dope, as the SRS light is right under the needle on the tach. however, i got lazy, and i figured i already have too many wires under my dash, so it would be even more of a fire hazard, so i gave away my rpm activate switch.

That sounds like a good idea, any info on this DIY mod?

anybody know where you can get those msd rpm activator things?? everyone says pep-boys, but we dont have one here, so maybe a web site?? or does auto-zone carry them??
