a p30 should come with it. many companies make programs for them. a few of my friends are running PYR programs b16 pwerd ek has a mugen in his and he runs a rpt program when he sprays. just depends on your setup. and what your looking for

JDM P30 (small case) type, there are many different programs avalible for the ECU from mild Spoon/J's racing to race Mugen and others (check my sig 
)

why not? i was under the impression that chips were pretty cheap and i cant afford a piggyback or dyno time yet? is there something im missing?
