I have a '02 Accord EX with the crappy in dash changer. In the process of inserting a CD it gave me an ERR on the display then showed 0 CD's inserted even though there are 5 in there. The cassette and radio work fine but the CD functions are totally dead. The car is 2 months old, less that 5K miles but I hate waiting for factory service. Any idea on how I might reset the changer to get it detecting disc again? I've tried cycling power etc. etc. etc. and no-go.

 

i think if you take it to honda, they have a way of fixing it , some code to reset it or something... im not srue about it, but that is what i would do

 

Thanks, I think I'll just build something reliable. I saw a bitchin deck with a 200 gig hard drive. I can throw 40,000 MP3's on it. That and XM is all a guy would ever need.
