Ep3 seats in an Eg??

Ep3 seats in an Eg??
A friend of mine bought new Ep3 seats for his Eg. We tried to get them into the Eg, they didnt fit. Is there someone out there who has tried this swap without modification?

When asking a question like this, post in the forum that discusses the car from which the part is going into, not the car from which the part originated from. You'll have better luck in the EG forum.

Being a EP and EG owner myself, I have tried them and the rails are way off.
You need to modify them or take the Ep brackets off and put some custom ones on.
Making some custom ones is your best bet. Due to the fact that the driver will sit way high in the EG with the stock EP brackets/seats.

I figured thats what he was going to have to do. He didnt do any research before hand. On the good side he only paid $500 for front and back seats. Thanks for the info eg_nezay!!

He was talking about an EG not an EK.
btw, my friend has them in his EK aswell and they are alot easier to put in then EG, due to the rail shape.
