Its funny how most of the people here would have done the opposite of what you did.

Looks good.

But why'd you strip it?

no, stock SOHC vtec, just cold air, car was auto and I converted it to manual, that was my winter project plus repairing the front end.
Next project will be stiffer rear swaybar, Neuspeed races are coming next week to replace neuspeed "sports". Hope to get some nice handling with koni yellows.
Wanna do a lot of autoX and track, turbo will be for the winter.

You are the first one I know who did EL to Civic conversion.
SiR front looks nice too though. Did you get that rear strong bar(or whatever you call it) custom made?

What kind of rims are you getting?

Looks good. I did the same thing. You planning on stripping the tar out as well? Also, did you notice a significant road noise increase from removing the interior?

yeah, hear too much creaks from the rear reinforcment panel (where the speakers are), I won't remove Tar', in winter I put the interior back in.
Yes i did the rear trunk brace myself and I learned about it here, at H-T.
Tomow I'm gonna build one more reinforcement bar, kinda C-pillar bar, and attach it to rear harness upper mounting ponts.

thanks for comments guys.
Yeah, I've only done the front end, not the rear, this car is an 1.6 EL originally.
I had to convert the front cauz I smashed it, and I got a deal on an almost new Si front end arleady painted my color, couln't resist.
I beleive I'm probaly the second person who has done this kind of conversion, I beleive there is already one guy in canada who has done it before me.
But I for sure am the first one in my region

why would you strip your interior for weight-saving and then ADD weight with a rhino lining??

i did that too(stripped rear) but my gf didn't much care for the noise so the rear seats back in, plus i give people rides a lot and it kinda sucks hearing them bitch about sitting on the metal where my seat used to be, i did give them my jacket to sit on though.

I didn't strip the front, - so the dash is pretty normal

anyway, I strat thinking of puting the seats back, I can't stand the squeaks coming from the rear tray, makes noises all the time, even on slightest bumps.
