Autocross Azenis tire pressures
i like 41 front 34 rear. still expirementing though. im on neuspeed race (435F 330R)/kyb agx and ST sways with the slips wrapped in15" azenis.
I normally run about 38psi front and 31-32psi in the rear on 205/50s with my DX on ST springs, ST rear bar and AGXs. You just got to start about 39f/32r and play with the PSIs (hot) to find the best PSI set up for the surface your running on and your cars mods and weight.
Your going to have to experiment with different tire pressures to really find the ideal pressure to run at. Your going to have to take tire temperature reading and find out if the pressure is to high or to low, trial and error. The tire temperature reading should read evenly across the tire or with 2 degrees of each other. It depends on many variables as well like temperature outside suspension rate and ect...
While taking a pyrometer reading as was mentioned above it the best and most accurate way to tell what the suspension is doing, some people do not have direct access to one. If you do not, the cheap way to at least get a start is to take some chalk and mark the outside shoulder of the tires in several spots around the diameter. You want it so there are chalk marks starting on the tread itself and continue on to the outside side wall. When you run, you will wear the chalk off the endge and it will give you a pretty good indication how far the tire is rolling over on to the sidewall. You will see wear indicator arrows on the side wall you want the tire to roll right to the tip of the arrow.

Last year with 350f/400r springs on a 2000 Civic Si I ran 38f/33r (1.5 negative front, 2.2 negative rear). With my new bushings and camber kit (2.5 negative front, 1.5 negative rear) I'm running 41f/43r. And the car feels very neutral.

Humm I'll have to bump up my rear on my next session to see if this were i can find the 2 seconds I couldn't find last weekend.

At the last event we had I was 3rd or 4th fastest time there. There was a B modified with a 65.xxx, a BSP M3 with a 67.3, a Street mod Mustang with a 69.5 and myself with a 71.6.
That's an interesting spread of times, you have there.
They're usually in the thousandth here.
Anyway, my car seems to like 38/35 so far, haven't tried rear high pressures yet though... something for me to think about...

I run 36 front and 39 rear on my GSR. My car has very little understeer with that setup. I have tried less pressure in the rear than front also, but I like what i am doing now.

But what about wheel size? Pressures on a 15x6 are going to be very different on a 15x7.
On my R I was running 37f/34r on a 15x6 wheel. On my new 15x7 wheels I am down to 34f/31r and still experimenting...

Also remember your tire pressures also depend on the surface. We ran a grippy lot last weekend and I had to use higher pressures. Today I kept bringing down my pressures by 1psi front and rear until I got to 39f/42r. Compared to the more grippy lot last week with 41/43.

Flux,
I think you are correct becasue I was using much less air and I still wasn't using the whole sholder of the tire. I was at ~ 38F and 34R, but the rea still wasn't rolling much...

Wow, Same as mine
I ran 35/35 my last event
, I'll run 37 front , 32 in the back for my next event but I'm still new at this. I really also depends on how your car is set up.

Interesting to note since I ran 39/38 on some Bridgestone RE730s last year and will run Azenis this year with an LSD. I plan to start at the same temp and experiment from there.
