i just recently bought a 550 esp. i didnt do any research on alarms till after i got my alarm. i regret getting it cus i couldve got the 790 xv for a damn good price. but is there any way i can upgrade it to have the same options as the 790 xv such as the pager? thats what i mainly want. and i also want proximity sensors.

yes it is very easy to upgrade to the 790xv from the 550esp im an installer at circuit city and its all plug and play.. all you need to is remove the 550esp brain, and antenna.. after its removed plug in the 790xv brain into the same wiring harness and then run the new antenna.. everything will work perfect.. the 790 is the same alarm as the 550esp only lcd 2way pager..
