Anyone know what's causing my brakes...
to make a clicking/popping sound when I slam on the brakes?
I recently flushed the MC and bled everything about a month ago when I changed to new rotors/pads. I never really slammed on the brakes afterwards until today.
With the car off, pumping the brake pedal a few times firms it up, so I think my MC is fine. With the car on, I can hold a steady pressure on the brake pedal but it wont sink to the floor. However, if I really try to press it down, it will start to sink (don't know how far it goes... it just starts to sink if enough pressure is present.
Now driving the car around, it brakes fine. But today I decided to get on the brakes to see how it did... the brake pedal sunk pretty low, and as soon as it wouldn't go any lower, I hear a bunch of clicking/popping sounds coming from the front of the car until the car comes to a stop.
What's wrong??

HAHA yea probably ABS......ABS helps prevent your brakes to lock up it helps you stop better by applying the brakes in many times off and on rapidly so your brakes wont lock up and you skid. Hence the name ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)
whew!!
ok so it's supposed to click that loudly? it sounds like it's coming from right in front of me. i guess i never got it to kick in until now. when i pushed the pedal as hard as i could, the pedal kicked a little. i thought i shoved the pushrod into the MC too far or something!
