anybody need a set of Hoosier R3S03`s?
Brand new, heat treated, ready to mount. 205/50/15. Thought one of you might like these instead of the vultures in classifieds. Best reasonable offer.
Move this if you need to, RJ.

edit: taking up space. first $500 takes`em.

A3S03s are a softer autocross compound
R3S03s are a harder track compound
basicly you can use the R3S03s for autocross (they're legal for any class the As are legal for). You'll get more runs out of them (because of the harder compund) but you'll be giving up a little Max grip.

Maybe a stupid question but how much better for auto-x would these be then the Azenis (since they are the "R" compound)? I already have the Falkens and wouldn't want to spend $500.00+ for new tires that aren't going to be much better for the application.
Thanks

probably 2-3 seconds per run
but they're heat cycled out after 30 runs and not streetable at all.

What exactly does this mean, I am unfamiliar with this?
Thanks

Means after 30 runs the rubber has been heat cycled too much and the tire is greasy and slow. YMMV depending on use, car setup, course surfaces and driving style.

It means that after a certain amount of use that gets them up to temperature, for a certain number of times, they're trash. It's not uncommon to pitch a Hoosier with plenty of rubber because it just doesn't grip.
It also means that Hoosiers SHOULD NOT be street driven. They are extremely lightweight, and as a result, they are extremely fragile. So potholes and stuff can potentially hurt them badly.
