as for question # 1, i've heard the type R kit is a better fit for that application, although the si kit will still work. i guess if you have the choice, do the type r. something about it sitting lower i think.

 

The Type R kit is the same as the Si kit with the exception of a few small things. The Type R and Si (all DOHC VTEC engines) use the M62 Eaton blower. The Type R and Si both use the 4.2 inch nose pulley.

The GS-R uses a 4.0 inch nose pulley, but you can't use that kit on a PR3 head because the manifold won't bolt up.

The Type R kit and the Si kit are exactly the same. As long as you keep the same head you can swap in any B series block.
I'm sure Hondata will have a tune very close for your set up and you can tune fro there.
As for NOS , Unless you want to run more then a 50 shot I would tun a wet kit through thottle body , You get so much more effective power that way.
As for putting it in a CRX, Alot of fun........

Yes the supercharger will fit in the CRX , We have done many.It is not a bolt in by any means. The 2nd integra is very differant, The master cyinder is the main problem, If you don't mind taking out the brakes it will fit .

You have a few options.. if you want to run a small dry shot (25-50 shot), then you should ask hondata to tune you just a little rich to be on the safe side and you won't have any problems. The nice thing about a dry shot is that it will cool ur intake temps before they go into ur blower. From a ZEX'ed 35 shot (a NOS nozzle) on a b18c1 running 8.5psi, there was a 52whp increase due to the nitrous's cooling effects. If you want to run more then that, your best bet would be the NOS noszle system because it wouldn't require any drilling into the mani. It simplifies the whole process. It wouldnt be that bad an idea to trade in ur hondata 4b for a s200 w/ nitrous control if you plan on going that route. Just a thought.

 

The S200 has nitrous control? Is this a new feature?

 

Oh yea...the folks at JR told me I have to inject nitrous AFTER the blower. You are saying I can inject BEFORE at the throttle?

The folks at JR just don't wanna be liable if anything goes wrong.. not that they would ever take responcibility in the first place..

The problem with injecting it before the blower is that you get an uneven distribution of nitrous to each cylinder, which can blow ur motor if you aren't careful. But if the shot is small enough and you tune it on the rich side, you won't have any problems at all.. the s200 w/ nitrous control will allow you to do this without sacrificing performance off the bottle.

But if you want to go w/ a bigger shot, dp is ur best bet.

 

i recall some talk about the nitrous harming the coating on the impellers of the blower. maybe someone can verify this?
