i recently bought a 88 crx si and i am having this really annoying idling prblem
it idles at that first line below the 1000 mark on my tach which would seem norml
but the steering wheel vibrates, sometimes it will drop idle to like 300 rpm for a couple of seconds then it will bounce up to 1000 or so then back to that first line.
once in a while it will jump to like 1700 rpm for a couple of minutes then back to that first line

i have taken off my eacv and cleaned it
my mechanic performed a 120k maintence/tune up
new timing belt water pump-drain/refill coolant
i have checked my vacuum lines and everything seems a/ok
i have not changed my fuel filter, could this be the problem?
many have said that i need a new eacv but honda wants $200
if i buy a used one at a junkyard what year and model can i swap it from?

any help would be greatly appreciated this idle thing is drivi9ng me nuts!!!!!
