Default Can we get a 7th Gen Accord section on here for just 7th gen stuff?

I think we should have a 7th gen Accord sub-forum on here because it is the newest model and new information on it should be easier to find... most stuff people post on the Accord section refers to older models...

Or maybe a "New Model" section where people talk about the latest models of all Honda cars?

Thanks,
Josh

I kinda doubt that will happen, we just have model based sections. If you want to find the threads only about the 7th gen, then just use the search button.

Yeah, the Accord forum isn't slow enough as is...

I didn't mean to imply in any way that people with new cars are better, or even that new cars are better. Just that there will be a lot of new information coming out about the new cars, because they are new. And having a separate forum (or subforum) for this would make this information easier to find while limiting the clutter on other forums so people with information pertaining to other models can find their information easier too....

Hmm, okay let me first say that I'm not busting on you. But, you need to take another look at the differences between your car and the 6th gen Accord.

Your 2003 Accord V6 is based off the same chassis as the 6th gen.

Your 3.0 V6 engine is an improved version of the 3.0 V6 found in 6th gens.

The newest Integra, the RSX got its own forum. But at least the RSX had a MacPherson strut front suspension and the K Series engine. Sure, the 4cyl accord has the K, but your car specifically doesn't.

But all that is irrelevant. The real reason why there won't be a 7th gen forum is that it would replace the Other Honda/Acura Models forum as the lowest traffic forum of H-T.

BTW-Did you get the 6speed?

Got ya... didn't know there was such little traffic, i'm new to H-T, because I dont even own a honda yet... I'm waiting for my loan check to come in (couple days now).

No, I'm not getting the 6-speed cause I am getting the Sedan... (I think it looks a lot classier). I've had the all out sports cars before, now I want something that is sporty but classy at the same time. Otherwise I think I'd get a supercharged 3000GT-VR4.

P.S. When do i go to regular status and not 'Trial' user?

umm... no

when they were the latest model and all information about them was brand new, yes. It should be like a "Latest Model" section... and when the 8th gen comes out it gets that forum, not the 7th gen... its really simple, you get it?

its not necessary

this is one of the slowest forums on HT, there is no need to break it up

The RSX/Si forum is there because those cars are so radically different than their previous generation and they complained alot about it and were finally given their own forum. The accord 7th gen didnt go through quite as many changes as the DC5/EP3.

Gee i thought that the 3000gt-vr4 came twon turbo from the factory so why would you want to change it to a supercharged version. Just a thought.

trying to raise the BS flag? um....

lol as slow as the accord forum is, spliting it up wouldn't do much good.
