You guys are not gonna believe this.
They found the car 3 blocks from where it was stolen. Camshafts+valvetran(jun3's), header(Toda), ITR shift ****, alpine cd changer, about 75-100cds, and all the stuff in my car was taken (i.e. digital camera, north face jacket, mp3 player, school bag etc..)

But the good news is they only took my passanger side Sparco, 00" GSR rims are still on the car, Comptech ice box+comptech filter, my new Alpine deck are all still there!! What kind of idiots stole my car???

In a way this really sucks cause now my insuurance only covers $1000 of aftermarket stuff on my car. And since I have a $500 dedutable its not even really worth it for me to claim.

I would really like to thank all of you for your condolences and support, it really means a lot to me to have such a great community here on Honda-Tech. I will be trying to slowly build my car back up. Unfortunatly I only have about $300 in my savings right now but my car will someday be track ready I swear!!!

Im about to give you some great advice!! Pocket the cash they give you recieve to replace the OEM valvetrain it should equal up to the aftermarket parts you had in the car already!! Do not mention anything about the car having a aftermarket valvetrain!!
Thats what i did when my car had been stolen and i made out like a bandit!!

 

well at least you got your **** back dogg...be thankful for that... most tegs never make it back! a buddy of mine recently had his 95 gsr turbo stolen there's way too many mods to even tell in fact its a sad story to even here about. (Joe, I feel for you dogg!) anyway, you'll bounce back! thieves will die

i won't consider you lucky, but at least they were selective in what they were after. glad you got your car back in mostly one piece, and that you're willing to continue the 'project' despite the huge setback

haha I don't think I'm gonna do that, I"ll just try to make some money and build my car up again.

I would take pictures but they stole my digital camera....

Damn, it takes a lota ***** to mod your car again after its been stolen!!! If my car was stolen i dont know if i would risk all that time, work, and money into something i know would be stolen again

glad to hear; my teggy was stolen from me a few years ago and the damn thieves didn't really take much. They just took the car for a joy ride and tore the f*** out of it....

It's not like there is a notice on the motor saying there is toda cams inside?

Don't you all think this is kinda wierd.

Again you never had toda cams and parts. They took your stock cams and parts. Insurance will pay for stock cams and parts.

Did you get all your stuff done at the same shop? Or... have you told anyone recently what your setup is? We'll look out for you if anyone starts modding their cars will Jun or Toda goodies...

yea sounds like an inside job to me. Its only fair that insurance pay for the price of stock stuff, what you do with the money is non of their business.

Definatly sounds fishy for them to steal camshafts and a valve train. Keep your eyes peeled and your ear to the ground my friend. Glad you got most of your car back mostly intact and have a .

 

the one that took your **** is prolly a homie or even a place that you got you **** done .... they sure did kno what to take spacificly
