Default National Events / Factory Manuals

Hopefully a simple question. SCCA Recommends/requires/suggests you have a factory service manual when you attend a national level event. This is what I want correct?

Helminc.com/stuffola

if not can someone direct me to the proper place?

Hmmm, are you planning some questionable mods?

I believe the Helms manual is the correct one to buy. I went to the dealership to buy mine and they told me to order it from Helm's web page.

Yep, that's the one. That and your factory user's manual.

Of course, you'll only need these in case of a protest.

Nah... I just want to be safe from protests when I win in Topeka this year!

Plus I figure it can't hurt to have the manual at my disposal right? This is actually the more important part but I just wanted to make sure that I got the one I'd need at a national event.

Doh! where the hell did I put that one!

Here's a little insight to how my life goes...
1) I don't buy the manual. Results : I'll end up doing really well, but I'll get protested and DQed (not dairy queen either) cause I won't have the manual.
2) I buy the manual. Results : I'll suck at the event, Nobody will protest me.
Its a no win situation, but whatcha gonna do?

Is the Supplement important? It's an additional $35, and I don't want to spring for it if it's not valuable.

The rules say you need to have a Factory Service Manual. I have had good luck locating used Factory Service Manuals at http://www.bookfinder.com using Honda for the Author.

Another good one is http://www.factoryautomanuals.com. If you're looking for an older car (like, say, 1990 Firebird), it may not be in their stock right away, but it will likely show up soon.
