Splicing wires for a tachometer? How to!?
Get your splicers out. Make 2 cuts an 1/8" apart, slice the little piece in between the 2 cuts with a razor, remove the piece, splice your green wire on. Or you can do what I did and to to Radioshack and get the inline connectors.
do your splice up near the cluster its 100% cleaner looking. Gets rid of the wire running from the dizzy up to your tach =cleaner engine bay.

So wait, I can splice the wire right up near the cluster instead of in the engine bay? That may be easier. Is the wire the same color.. blue near the guage cluster?
Just get one of those connectors, where you put the wire in, and you snap it OVER hte existing wire, that way there is no cutting or anything, looks good, and works great.
