i just wanna know what you think of the skunk2 stage two cams/power and whats your setup??

 

Skunk2 stage are some of the most powerfull cams u can buy!! The only draw back to them is that they need some serious compression to run to the max and they need to be tuned to the key to get the proper amount of power!!! The skunk2 Stage 2 cams will also requre you to upgrade your valvetrain to withstand the high revving those cams need!!

 

hard to tune, but really worth it

 

A port and polish might even be neccesary to really gain the power of these cams!! Because those babies need to flow!!

Yeah, you gotta get someone to tune those babies or you'll idle like ****.

They are awesome cams and worth the money. I'm getting some soon.

 

what do u guys think about running those with my setup now?? in the future i wanna build the motor so should i just get them now? my crowers are not in yet.still stock compression. planning to get v-afc and itc for tuning

Your current mods look good but i would look into getting some lighter valves for that setup and DEFINETLY upgrading your pistons to something that yields some more compression!! EX. CTR PISTONS or JDM ITR PISTONS if you wanna stay OEM!!

 

Id probably go JDM ITR's with that setup...thats what I am doing with my stage 1's

 

well plan is to get some 85mm sleeves and pistons, eagle rods. what brands do you suggest for these parts?

 

Personally Im a OEM guy and would tell you if you want to go oversize Honda sells some hot CTR pistons oversized and then maybe some Eagle rods!!

With some oversized CTR pistons 200HP is a definite possibilty!! For a NA motor thats pretty impresive!!

 

Get a Hondata for tuning.

Its more than a possibility, its a gurantee -- I intend on passing 200 whp on my stock bottom end with stage 1's . Just need some injectors and a fuel pump.

We'll see. We are going for about 205.

 

Can easily hit 200wHP with Skunk2 cams.

do you need to bore or modify the sleeves at all to run .20 over?? piston 2 wall clearance??
