Which insurance co. lets you cover aftermarket parts?
**** Farmers. They only cover audio systems. Any aftermarket part, they dont cover, and do not even have it as an option.
Anyone have their precious expensive aftermarket parts insured? If so, which company and how much more are you paying for it?

I have State Farm and they told me as long as I have a current picture and receipts. Then I am covered. I even asked them what about a 3000 dollar turbo, and they said that that is covered.
I have pretty extensive coverage of aftermarket parts through Metropolitan, no questions asked really. Just said the parts have to be bolted down and you need receipts. They were more than happy to tack on some additional fees to my payments
Yeah they handled it well when I was hit by a State Farm insured dumbass(just the driver, not saying state farm is bad
) I was paid for my aftermarket parts that were damaged and have no complaints about them. Metropolitan
State Farm
Pemco

Why don't you just tell the insurance, they stole your oem parts. That **** is expensive! Use that money to pay for any aftermarket parts you want.

Yes thats the exact reason why my car was totalled. The interior, missing engine parts alone is higher than the car's value. My car is a 1995 so the car value is only about 7 grand. So I had to drop the claim and fix it out of my own pocket to minimize my loss. Either way I loose money but by dropping claim I only loose less..about 5 grand difference.
