Default cutting bumpstops

ok i have read some threads on this and i am kinda confused, but that is not the issue.. the issue is should i cut them or not? i have tokico blues with h&r sports, sould i cut them? what exactly will it do for me, thanx for the patience guys

cutting bump stops just gives you that 1/2 inch travel depending how far you cut them down.. remember by doing too much will bottom out the shocks

The only ones I know for sure that say to cut them are for Eibach Pro Kit Springs. And they say to cut them a specific length just fo the fronts. So unless the manufacturer specifically says to cut them, I'd leave them alone. Even though others have cut them with no problems, there is still that potential that something can go wrong.

i would cut about 1/4 off and keep the bigger part (the 3/4s part.) you don't wanna cut too much off cause the bumpstop is like the "last resort" absorber when you hit a big pot hole or something like that. when the spring and shock can't travel any more, that's where the bump stop comes in. i would keep most of it, but cutting off a little isn't bad. and it lowers it a little too.

Ride height has NOTHING to do with bumpstops. So NO it does not lower it.
