Default Accelerator/Throttle Cable issues...H22A Swap

I was wondering which accelerator cable you guys used on your H22 swaps. The prelude one that came with my motor was cut so I used the F22 cable. I used the F22 bracket too and it looked like everything matched up. I open up the throttle body manually by hand and the cable always comes off the rail of the throttle bracket. It's a snug fit and it's on there tight so I was wondering if you had to use the H22 accelerator cable or if you could still use the F22 cable and how to make it work....

You have to get the prelude (H22A) throttle cable...

I Got my H bracket to work, dont remember how exactly. I think I used the lude bracket and moved it back so only one bolt holds it. Here is a pic to look at. Hopefully it helps.

So you're saying you got the Accord's throttle cable to work with the H22A? This would help me out too. I haven't even tried to find a prelude throttle cable yet...

Yup we got mine to work since I was broke as a joke and couldnt afford the lude cable. I will take close up pics of it tonight to show and tell. It works fine, it seems that much of the research I did on the net prior to doing the swap did help but there seems to be quite a bit of mis information or incomplete information out there is well. Lots of it are just little things that are easliy fixed they just kind of tun into uhhhh okay OH okay moments durring the swap.

You don't have to use the prelude cable. Just drill two holes the same distance apart on the cable bracket( I drilled as far to the right as I could, to allow plenty of adjustment). I have a 4th gen and it worked fine drillng the holes.

Cool, I'll try moving the bracket over. What powersteering return hose is that? It's not the stock one is it? Thanks...

Looks like he manufactured a hose(the bends are not as curved as the prelude hose). DOHC, you should check out the hondasociety.com hybrid forum. There is a sticky at the top with all the info you need.

For power stearing I am using stock accord pump and lines. 97 lude bracket, all bolts up like a charm!
