very curious...
would the 92-95 civic sohc vtec ex motor drop directly in the 89 hf crx?? with out having to buy aftermarket or different motor mounts?? i know both motors are D series soo it should just drop in yah?? just change axles, ecu, etc. thanks,B
do a search
u use ur stock motor mounts,
stock shift linkage
stock dizzy
u gotta use a Si ecu or INtegra 88-91
stock axles
and u can use a better tranny that the HF one.. but it technically works

You have to change the driver side mount that is on the block to your HF mount that is in the block cause it won't line up and the motor will sit crooked.
hey thanks for the info...so change the driver side mount on the civic motor to my HF one then.
and i can use my stock axles, shift linkage, tranny etc to bolt straight up to the civic motor? thought i would have to change those. well thanks for the info...much love to the ht peeps. peace.B
