Hey Everyone,
I am getting ready to do my Ls Vtec at the end of the month, and I need to buy some parts from the stealership. I was wondering if I am purchasing the right parts, and if I missed out on any parts, or if I should be buying something else..

My set up...
94 B18b
96/97 B16a2 Head
Gsr Camshafts
B16a2 Intake Manifold
B16a oem oil cooler
GSR girdle and goodies
Stock Header (I'll boost this b!tch later so fawk it)

Now here are the parts I am planning to buy from the stealership. If they are incorrect please post and let me know! thanks.

First parts for the oil cooler: These are all Type R parts. Any problems working on my set up?

19505-PR3-000 - water pipe(has extra nipple for water line)
19423-PR3-000 - Oil Cooler line (OUT)
19422-PR3-000 - Oil Cooler line (IN)

These are now GSR parts, that I believe is no different form Type R parts correct?
Any problems here, or that I should be using somethign else?
Gsr water pump,
Gsr oil pump,
Gsr timing belt,
Gsr timing belt tensioner and the spring along with it

LS Head Gasket

Now everything above, im pretty sure is okay, but now here is the iffy stuff...

I was told by my stealership that ALL BOTTOM END GASKET KITS are the SAME. LS = GSR... Is this true?

If so, should I just buy the GSR BOTTOM END kit because of the GSR girdle, oil pan etc?


Now that last question is:

Top-End Gasket Kits what do I use?!?!?! since im using a b16a2 head, that resembles the type R head, would it be okay to use the type r top end gasket kit? or do I leave my acura dealership, and go to a honda dealership for a b16/si top end gasket kit?
