Anyone wanna make some money??
Just got my new Brake pads in from Baranco Acura......and need someone to install them and resurface the rotors........I called a bunch of places today and most of them won't do it because I already have the pads
Anyone in North Jersey want to do it or know of place to go that won't charge me an arm and a leg????

I would call around and find the cheapest place that will cut the rotors for you. Then, if you don't already own one, go out and purchase a Chilton or Haynes (Helms would be excellent, but isn't necessary for brakes) and it will walk you through the pad swap. It's very straight forward and will save you a lot of money. If it came down to it, I could help you out if you ran into any snags.

I had the same problem in DC. No one wanted to turn my rotors for me so i went out and bought new ones. Honda wanted 92 bucks/rotor or some insane amount. I don't know if its a northern thing but people up here seem to be about making money ALL the time. At least down south you can sometimes get the hook up, up here it's next to impossible.
I really don't need to replace the rotors yet....i would be a waste for me to go and buy new rotors but then again paying $152 for resurface and install is crazy too....I'm kinda stuck now???!?!?!? I have to find a place that will turn them for me...anyone know of place?
i feel turning rotors is a waste
first you are reducing the amount of material...so it will get heat soaked faster....thus making them warp soon
for a couple bucks more you can get some good generic rotors that will far out last any turned rotor.

If you have a couple of basic hand tools and Honda-Tech, you can easily do it. If you have problems we can walk you through it. If you want you can IM me when you do it and I'll help you step by step. DO NOT waste your money taking it somewhere to get done.
