Default Question about lowering my R with 17" rims...

I have ordered a set of 17" Gumetal LE37s, and I had a quick question about lowering my R. I would definitely like to close the fender gap once the rims are on the car, and I was wondering for those of you who have an R with 17"s, how low does it need to be to close the gap with 17s? Obviously it will not be lowered as much as an R with 16s.. Also, how low can I lower it, before I am rubbing over speed bumps, etc..?

Info would be great thanx.

Chris
