Maintenance required light started flashing today and goes out.
Seems to be doing this after starting the car.
All maintenance has been done by me and is current.

How do I get this to stop flashing and should I be concerned about this?

its just routine, doesn't mean anything is wrong with your car. if its the check engine light, then you got a real problem. to reset, hold down the trip/reset button and turn the key where the lights turn on in the dashboard(but dont turn on the car). keep holding the button until the maintanance req'd light turns off. next time you start your car it should be off permanantly. the light will come back on after a couple more thousand miles.

Have you tried referring to the owners manual?

 

Look in your owners manual, it will give you the procedure to turn off the maintenance light. Don't worry about it flashing when you turn on your car, it's normal for that, it's just a little reminder that maintenancce is going to be due soon...nothing major..

Hold the TRIP button for about 15 seconds. Then, turn the key all the way while still holding down the button until the light shuts off. You don't have to start the car to do this.
