Default What knock sensor to use?

Well im changing over the wiring harness on my friends 92 b18a1 on to a b18c1 and he has a plug for the knock wire and I took it out of the a1. Then i took out the Knock wire on the b18c1. The b18c1 has one wire coming out the plug and the b18a1 has two wires coming out the plug. so what plug do i have to use? I no that if you put a b18c1 into a 92 integra you have to wire for the knock sensor. Well its alrady in the harness so do I leave the plug undone and use the gsr knock wire and just wire it to the ecu? Or plug in the knock senor from the b18a1 and have no need to wire it?

depends on what ECU you use. you can do either....but if you are using the gsr ecu, then you will need to wire up knock sensor.

Sooo what plug do i use? Do I use the plug off the gsr motor or the plug off the ls motor? Ls motor plug has two wires and gsr plug has one. So if I use the gsr knock wire do I just leave the ls knock wire unpluged? Im using a obd-1 p72

Welp, knock sensors are universal. If the B18A has a knock sensor (I know the OBD0 does not have it but I'm not sure on the OBD1 B18A's), then you can just wire that knock sensor up to D3. If it has a plug, or you don't have a knock sensor, then you will need one for the P72 ecu so there is no CEL..

Or you can bag this whole thing and get a chipped P28 or standalone
