OT: What roadside assistance do you use?
I am looking for a new roadside assistance provider. AAA has pissed me off. I was with them for 6 years. I had AAA plus which gives you 6 tows @100 miles per tow. I dropped for one year and came back. They said I could not get AAA plus back for one year. Now my renewal is up. They say that I cannot have it until I have been a member for 18 months, and at least 18 months after my last tow.
I was towed in August, so that means I could not have it until next year. When I initially signed up in 1995, I started on plus.
Anyway, I was looking for other providers and found these guys http://www.theautoclub.com. Anyone ever heard of them.

The normal AAA plan is 3 tows of 7 miles. The plus may be 6 calls and 3 tows. I don't recall the exact details, but the 100 mile tow is what I want/need. My mechanic is 15 miles away. I am not switching mechanics either
If I would have known that it would be this big of a deal to get back the plan that I started AAA with, I would have kept it.
