Lamin-x vs Stoneguard
I wanted to write to get a response to see how many people have thought of using a protective film to protect the front of their cars. I know of several companies out there that make such a product but I want to hear of personal thoughts on this product and what choice you would go with. I feel after doing my research that Lamin-X offers a better product at a less rate. And Lamin-X is the only one to offer different color films. If you watch any of the GT cars run, the yellow lights that the Vipers and Porches run are a Lamin-X product. They also offer a blue film that give the appearance of HID’s for pennies an inch. So for about 30usd you can have protection and a look. Not bad in my book.
But I am looking to see what you think and if you were going to buy such a product what is the deciding factor in choosing one product over the other?
Please feel free to write any personal experiences with either one of these products.

From my experience I'd recommend it. I dont use it, but know people that do (not sure if it's Lamin-X or what). It makes all the difference if you want your paint to look very glossy and you dont like road chips and grime on there.
I'd like to get my car repainted and done entirely in that stuff. You cant tell it's on and it's super thin. If it gets dirty, just rinse it off.
I say get it. I prolly am down the road. I'm tired of my bumper getting fucked up b/c of all the bugs, rocks, and other ****. This is a good product that people over look.
